Jane A. (D’Angelo) Conklin went home to the Lord on October, [ ], 2013 with her family beside her. She closed her eyes and was placed in the arms of our Lord and her beloved husband, and the love of her life, John “Jack” Conklin who preceded her on July 22, 2007. Jane was preceded by her mother and father, Lena and Antonio D’Angelo; and brother, Vincent D’Angelo. She is survived by her son and daughter‐in‐law, John and Lisa Conklin, Apalachin, NY;daughter, Suzanne M. Conklin, Tampa FL; and her beautiful and forever, cherished grandsons, who are as precious as all the stars in the sky, John and Brent Conklin of Apalachin, NY. Jane is also survived by her sister and brother‐in‐law, Teresa and Frank DiBenedetto, Binghamton; brother and sister‐in‐law, Anthony and Sandy D’Angelo, Virginia; sister-in-law, Teresa D’Angelo, Sarasota, FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jane always expressed special thanks to her very special cousins dear to her heart, Antoinette and Angelo Chapolo; Jenny and Marie DeAngelo; special neighbor Mike and Rita Balanda; and many friends with the Marine Corp League, especially Brian Vojtisek, for all the help he provided her and her family. Jane was a life member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, John W. Thurston Detachment; and a member of the Sons of Italy and St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton, NY. In the past Jane was employed by Fowler’s, Binghamton; Phil Smith Reality; a substitute teacher for the Vestal School District; and a wardrobe consultant for Howland’s, and a manager and wardrobe consultant for J.C. Penney, Oakdale Mall. My husband and I enjoyed socializing with many good friends at the Old Country Buffet. To all my friends that gathered there, I want to thank you for the comradery, laughter, and sincere
friendships we all shared. Jane was a devoted and loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, and aunt that loved her family dearly. Thank you mom for the wonderful and loving family, and beautiful life gifts you gave us.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 9:30 AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial Services will follow the Funeral Mass in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY on Friday from 4‐7 PM.
