Valerie J. Hardy, 90, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Hanford & Isabell Russell; sister Dawn Benjamin; brother-in-law Richard Benjamin and sister-in-law Marjorie Russell.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Jill & Thomas Hettig and son & daughter-in-law Chris & Nora Hardy; grandchildren Joseph, Lucas, Erin, Chris and Katie; several great grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law Dale & Sally Russell and many nieces and nephews.
For many years Valerie was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Binghamton. She loved watching movies, reading, listening to music, dancing and traveling. Valerie was a fiercely independent, fun loving, caring, generous spirited soul that truly loved her family. She will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 11-12pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 12pm. Burial will be in the Peck Family Cemetery, Harford, PA.
