Amber Skye Rhodes

Rhodes, Amber Skye, age 9, of Horton, Alabama, formerly of Ocklawaha, Florida, died April 26, 2012. Amber attended Solid Rock Church in Ocklawaha and Douglas Elementary School in Guntersville, Alabama. She loved all animals, and was sweet enough to tame a lion. She loved music and school at Douglas. Amber had a very old soul and her zest for life was infectious.

Left to treasure her memory are her Mommy and Daddy, Amanda and Shawn Rhodes; Nannan and Papaw; brothers, Christopher Maxwell (Christy) and Chance Maxwell; stepfather, Richard Stuart; stepsister, Riley Stuart; aunts, Chrissy, Laura and her husband Todd, Sharron, Kim, Cindy, Angel, Ronnie and Lita; aunt and best friend, Betty Stuart; uncles, Uncle Boots, Freddie, Shawn and his wife Angie, Eddi, Joe and Josh; special family friends, Vicky and Tori Owens; and numerous other family members, friends and four-legged and feathered family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mill Dam Park in Ocklawaha, Florida on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held at Collier-Butler Funeral Home in Gadsden, Alabama on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
