Every time I had the privilege to work with Norm, it was uplifting.  His attitude toward work and life was inspiring. 

I never had the pleasure to meet Norman face to face but I have had the pleasure to work with him for the past 10 years in his role at Southern Company. Always polite, always got back to me no matter what, always went above and beyond to help me. An absolute sweet colleague gentleman. I unfortunately just found out about his passing because I had tried to message him and it was so unlike him not to get a response and of course, this is the only obvious reason why he wouldn't because he always went out of his way to make sure he would give you his attention. Nothing but love for Norman and I want to wish my deepest sympathy to his wife and family. 

Cindi  and family  , sending  heart felt condolences on the passing of this special  young man. I was one of his suppliers and I always enjoyed hearing about going to grandmothers house  for thanksgiving, especially since  she was a former home economist teacher  and great cook. May God bless and comfort your family. He will be missed.

Like a few others, I never met Norm in person, but I worked with him for several years at Alabama Power and he was the best. Such a sweet man and so good at his job, so helpful. It was such a shock to hear of his passing. We lost a great colleague, but you lost so much more. Please know that you all are in our thoughts at this difficult time.

I was only with Norman a couple of times but they were so much fun because we had a lot in common with our love for cats and travel.    I will always think of him and of Cindi whenever I watch a Rick Steves' travel show.  He was such a great guy and will be so missed.

Norm was a co worker and a friend. He was always eager to help out. He will surely be missed by all. My prayers go out to his family.

I worked with Norm these last 8 years and he was just a fantastic person. We're all still shocked by the news of his death. Norm was known as a guy that routinely went above and beyond in his service to others. He'd stop what he was doing to help and was usually the one with the answer or the solution. Although I only met him a couple times, I considered him a friend. I'll sign off one last time as I often did in my many emails to him:  "thanks a McMillian, Norm!"
May God grant comfort and peace to his family at this time.

I remember Jack from St. Rose and Ramsay. He and Kelly were like peanut butter and jelly. Jack was hilarious and I so sorry to hear of his passing. 
I swear the air guitar never had a better player. Rest in heaven brother. 

Though I never met Norm face to face, I had talked and emailed him for years.  Working as a contractor to Southern Company, Norm was one of the most upbeat and overall nicest people that I ever dealt with at Southern Company.  I had worked with him for at least 20 years and in all that time no one ever put forth more effort to assist with anything I needed.  I know that he will be missed by myself and everyone else that knew him as more than just a business acquaintance.

Brother Norm has always been one of my favorite folks with Southern Company.  His smile and warm demeanor always made my day a little brighter. The world will be a little less bright missing his smile.  Our prayers are with his wife and family and friends.  Rick, Ramona, David and Shane

I loved Norm though I only knew him via our work relationship at Southern Company.  He was a gem of a person with utmost integrity and a genteelness about his character.  A true Southern gentleman.

Even though I only met Norman briefly in person, I feel like I knew him well through knowing you! I worked with Norm for several years here at Southern Company. He was always very polite and a great guy to talk with and sort orders out. He was always on point and always willing to help in anyway he could and would go out of his way to do just that. Great guy and will definitely be missed.
