

Jintanaporn “Teresa” Camacho of Springfield, FL was born in the small Catholic village of Tharae, Thailand on January 28, 1946. She came from a family that farmed in the rice fields. She had three sisters one of which was a catholic nun, an adopted sister and brother. She graduated from the local high school and was fluent in the English language. After high school she worked to help support her family. She eventually went to work for the United States Air Force at the Nakhom Phanom Royal Thai Air Base in north east Thailand working in the food service department and eventually at the Non Commissioned Officers Club in 1971. She met and married an air force NCO and came to the US in 1971. She moved to Panama City in 1986, worked and retired from Tyndall AFB Officers club.
Her parents were Catholic and given Catholic names, father Joseph Boonma Yongbuntom deceased, mother Maria Huns Yongbuntom deceased. She is survived by her brother Angelo Thonginn Yongbuntom of Thailand, her three daughters Sumitra Kaeder of Panama City Florida, Alexis Chimento of Hoover, Alabama and Alison Camacho of Atlanta, Georgia. Four grandchildren, Hadley Kaeder, Carmine Chimento, Mazaryne Chimento and Margaret “Pearl” Gartman. Sons-in-law Jeffrey Kaeder,Randall Chimento and Scott Gartman. Nieces Ms. Rad Oramai Japearach, Ms. Pam Wararat Japearach, Ms. Waleen Martin, Ms. Amonrat Yongbuntom-Pedersen, Ms. Dalad, Nephews Mr. Daycha Japearach and Chistopher Washington.
She was a member of various civic organizations in Panama City and a parishioner of St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Panama City. She had an impact on the lives of every person she would encounter. With her huge smile, positive attitude and always putting others before herself, she will be missed my many.
Memorial services will be for close friends and family only at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City on 12/8/13 from 6-8pm. Funeral services at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Panama City, Florida on 12/9/13 at 10am, all are welcome to attend her funeral with a reception to follow to celebrate her life!
