FERGUSON, MARION ADAMS Age 84 of Vestavia born July 27, 1929 passed away July 27, 2013. Devoted, loving wife, mother and the best grandmother in the world. Many years of volunteer service at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Retired Home Economics dept. head, Samford Univ. Member of New Horizons, UAB. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jack; children Linda Allad(Shabir), Patsy Burgess(Mike), Tom Ferguson(Jennifer); Sister Lillian Spears; sister-in-law Betty Jane Ferguson Hughes; grandchildren Dan and Tom Burgess, Anisa and Adam Allad, Kimberly, Joseph and Deborah Ferguson. She devoted her life to the care of others. A memorial service will be held at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 31, 4:00 pm. Visitation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion A Ferguson Scholarship Fund, Samford University or Alabama Institute For Deaf & Blind Foundation, Talladega.
