Paula Stringfellow Ford

Paula Stringfellow Ford, age 67, passed away on Saturday, April 6th after a short illness. Paula was the daughter of Jane Blackwell Hodges and Earl Martin Stringfellow, Jr. of Mountain Brook, AL. She is survived by her husband, H.C. Ford; daughters, Claudia Hardcastle (Owen) and Janie Mayer (David) and her 5 granddaughters; her mother, Jane Blackwell Hodges; her sister, Joy Stringfellow (Larry Thrasher) and her brothers, Martin, Tynes (Sally) and Jack Stringfellow. Paula was the light of many people's lives who will never forget her. She always had a beautiful, happy smile, she loved people and they loved her. She lit up a room... whether through her career as an interior decorator, her dancing, or her love for friends and family. Never before was there a woman so loved and cared about. Her husband will cherish their 45 years of dancing, loving and laughing together. Her family will cherish her smile and light forever. A celebration of her life will be held on Grayton Beach in Florida Sunday, April 21st at 1:00pm.
