Passed away September 26, 2013. Leigh was a member of 76th Street Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Huffman High School. She loved her family dearly; always asking how her niece and nephews were doing in school, and ended every nightly phone call to her father with, “I love you Daddy”. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Kirk; and her sister, Lynn Kirk. Leigh is survived and dearly missed by her father, David L. Kirk, Sr.; her brother, David Kirk, Jr. (Kathy); niece, Sydney; 2 nephews: Tyler and Walker; and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at Johns-Riout’s Funeral Parlors, 2116 University BLVD, Birmingham, AL 35233 on Saturday, October 12, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM; followed by a fellowship reception in her memory.
