"With sorrow, Temple Emanu-El announces the death of Terrence(Terry) Joel Fierman. Terry passed away on December 30 in Birmingham, AL, at the age of 86. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Irwin Fierman and Helen Bernstein Fierman. He is survived by his loving wife Julie Fierman, brother Bobby Fierman (Chu Chi), Sister-in-law MiMi Davenport (Tommy Oliver), sons Michael Fierman, Keith Fierman (Stephanie), daughter Ashley Fierman Lewis (Jon), grandchildren Claire Fierman and Michael Fierman (Molly), Step grandchildren Alec, Leigh and Zachary Lewis, great-grandchildren, Bertie and Gus Mattison and Olive, Emma Rose, Harper, and Waker Fierman, Nephew Stuart Fierman (Anne) and niece Meredith Fierman Smith (Ben), cousins Ronnie Epstein (Marion) and Myra Siegel (Lester), and other nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, dear friends, Emily Lawler and Zach and Debbie Watkins.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to Temple Emanu-El or the charity of your choice.
May Terry rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. May God comfort these mourners among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem."
