

William Dice “Bo” Lineberry, 55, died unexpectedly on April 12, 2022. Bo was born on January 30, 1967, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He was the son of Dr. Dice Kyle Lineberry and Mrs. Katherine Elliott “Kitty” Lineberry.
Bo graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 1985. He received a B.A. in English from Vanderbilt University in 1989 and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1992 and earned his L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University in 1993.
Bo loved his wife, Sally, and his children, Morgan and William. He was loyal, caring, and intelligent. Bo could light up a room with his quick wit. As a teacher, coach, and fan, he was his children’s ultimate supporter. Bo developed a passion for cooking and enjoyed sharing his creations with family and friends. He was an accomplished triathlete and a proud finisher of the 2005 New York Marathon.
Bo was a partner at Balch & Bingham, where he practiced tax law. He specialized in economic development, non-profit formation, governance and state and local taxation. He was involved in the Economic Development Association of Alabama and the Alabama Law Institute Committee on Nonprofits. He was a member of the Country Club of Birmingham and enjoyed time spent on the golf course with his Skins Dogfight.
Bo is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Dice Kyle Lineberry. He is survived by his wife, Sally Dommerich Lineberry; children, Morgan Ann Dommerich Lineberry and William Dice Lineberry, Jr.; mother, Kitty Elliott Lineberry; sisters, Susan Lineberry Barrón (Axel) and Katherine Lineberry Mange (George); nephews, George Edward Mange, Jr. and Oliver Fraser Mange; and niece, Emily Rebecca “Emmy” Barrón.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19th, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at The Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to The Cathedral Church of the Advent at 2017 Sixth Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203; or the charity of your choice.
