Concetta Tancredi (nee DeMeo), 87, passed away on March 14, 2012 at her home in Union. Arrangements are from the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield. A funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, followed by the burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visitation will be on Friday from, 5-9 pm.
Concetta lived in Irvington for many years before moving to Union 15 years ago. She worked in dietary at Irvington General Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her loving sons, Michael and Emanuel and his wife, Anita; brothers, John and Louis DeMeo; cherished grandchildren, Michelle, Laurie, Doreen, Michael, Denise and Laura and 9 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Emanuel Tancredi Sr. and her siblings, Carmela, Rose, Anthony, Ferdinand and Michael.
