Ilda "Hilda" Gioino

She was born in Naples, Italy and has lived in the Stephen Crane Village in Newark for the past 49 years.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St. Bloomfield on Friday, May 1st at 9:15 am followed by a mass at 10:30 am at St. Anthony of Belleville. The burial will be at Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation is on Thursday, April 30th from 4-8 pm.

She is survived by her loving son, Felice Gioino and his wife, Paula; cherished grandsons, Alessandro and Luca; daughters, Marie Sabba and her husband, Antony, Philomena Queli, Jeannette Soprano and Angelina Boscia; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Gioino and her brother, Angelo Marano.
