James "Jr" Nicoletti

JR was born in Newark to the late James Nicoletti Sr. and Nette (Venezia) and live in Newark and Bloomfield before moving to Belleville 12 years ago. He was in the US Navy and when returned a Laborer for the local 342 which turned into the local 1153 for 45 years before retiring in 1994.

James is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bertha Nicoletti; children, Jimmy Nicoletti, Barbara Deo, and Dale Risimini; sister, Beverly Lucarella; grandchildren, Jamie, Carl, Lisa, Gina, Lori, Jimmy, Carmen, Carlene, and Remy; and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving daughter Amelia Levinsky.

Visitation will be on Monday, Oct. 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison Street, Bloomfield, NJ, and Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday Oct. 7th at 9:15 am followed by a mass at 10:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville. The burial will be at Crest Haven Cemetery in Clifton.
