She was born in Brooklyn, NY and has lived most of her life in Belleville. She worked as a housekeeper for Columbus Hospital in Newark for 25 years.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield on Thursday at 8:15 am followed by a Mass at 9:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville. The burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington.
Josephine is survived by her loving children, Carmela “Lena” LaTulippe, Mary Iellimo-Tuite and her husband, William, and Nicholas Schepis and his wife, Elaine; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Marmo in 2003.
