

Agustina Miranda Yanez, 81, a 47 year resident of Fontana, passed into eternal salvation at home on Monday, August 20, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Tina was born September 2, 1930 in Arvin, California to Simon and Agustina Miranda, the fifth eldest of seven siblings. Tina was preceded in death by her husband Francisco Guerrero Yanez of Fontana, siblings Angelina Miranda de Lopez, Alberto Miranda and Amilia Miranda de Lopez, all from CD. Obregon, Sonora, Mexico. Tina is survived by her children Maria (Mike) Chavez of Rialto, Dora Flores of Fontana, Martha (Bob) Brewster of Fontana and Tony (Mara) Yanez of Riverside, brothers Arnulfo, Alfredo and Simon Miranda, all from CD. Obregon, Sonora, Mexico. Tina is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tina was a member of Saint George Catholic Church in Fontana for many years. Grandma Tina had a passion for life, and was embraced by the family and her friends for her commitment to her family, whom she held dearly to her heart. Her Love of Indian Casinos was only surpassed by the Love of her family, and she enjoyed being a housewife and resident babysitter for her grandchildren and friends. Rosary will be held at Green Acres Mortuary in Bloomington on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Internment will be Monday, August 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Memorial Park.
