Chris was born to parents, Ralph Edgar Ayers Jr. and Myrna Dunn Ayers, on April 18, 1973 in Silver City, New Mexico. He is survived by two sisters; his twin sister, Chrystal Ayers and niece Tiffany Petitt both of Fontana, sister Gwendolyn Palacios, brother-in-law Robert Palacios and his nephew of Northridge, his mother, Myrna Deerwalker Hilkert and Step-Father John Hilkert of Orange, his step-sister Candice Bacon of Washington, his Uncle Bob Jamerson of Fontana and many cousin and friends.
Chris spent most of his life being raised in Fontana. He was a member of the Rialto Church of Christ. Chris was an extraordinary person to those of us who knew him personally. He would give his life and devotion to causes he believed in. He lived in Turkey for two years as a missionary for Calvary Chapel in Los Angeles. He spoke and wrote Turkish fluently.
Chris also believed in giving unselfishly of himself for saving the Redwood Trees in Northern California, from being ‘clear cut’ and destroyed. He lived in the tops of these trees with other friends of this cause, to keep the Lumber Companies and other Corporations from cutting down these beautiful trees.
Chris was blessed with many outstanding gifts. He was a brilliant artist. He used art and poetry to interpret his feeling and emotions of his life and those he loved. He also played hand drums and was a part of the Renaissance Fair.
Services will be for family and close friends, buried in the family plot at Green Acres Memorial Park, Bloomington. Christopher’s family is asking, in lieu of flowers, to plant a tree in his honor.
Chris was a loving, giving person and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
