With profound sadness we announce the passing of Cristina Rivas Fuentes, our loving wife and mother to all whose lives she touched. On August 28, 2020 at 1:25 a.m., she left us to be with our Lord. She was 70 years old and made 70 look fabolous.
Born in Suchitoto, El Salvador on July 24th, 1950. In her young years she pursued a career in education to become a teacher. In the mid 70’s she came to Los Angeles, CA to make a better living and during her time in Los Angeles, while working she met her loving husband Fernando Fuentes.
They dated and within 6 months of knowing her, he proposed and they got married on June 8th of 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada. A love story that lastest 46 years. Within the years they built a family together.
She was a beloved wife to Fernando Fuentes, mother of Javier and Evelyn, mother in- law to Richard and proud grandmother of Ivan, Devin, Jonathan and great grandmother of Bella, Devin Jr and Alice.
Cristina, lived a full life of adventures, but the one thing she knew best was to love unconditionally. She will forever live in our hearts…
