

Dona moved to California with her family when she was 17. She worked as a Long Distance Operator for Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company 1951-1955. After raising her three children, she attended health career school and worked as a Medical Assistant at Kaiser Permanente from 1982-1987.
She was married to Edward Eason for 49 years and was a loving and devoted Mother to her 3 children. She enjoyed genealogy and published a book of her family history. She loved to write stories and poetry for her family, playing the organ, painting, traveling in their motorhome cross country and spending as much time as possible with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Glenda Terry of Las Vegas, her son Timothy Eason of Phelan, CA, her daughter Alisa Abril of Corona, CA, her 7 grandchildren, Karrie Dunn of Portland, OR, Tyler Sikstrom of Newberg, OR, Daniel Sikstrom of Portland, OR, Kristin Grijalva of Victorville, CA, Stacey Nelson of Visalia, CA, Ryan Abril and Allison Abril of Corona, CA, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Rollie McReynolds.
Services will be held at Green Acres Memorial Park and Mortuary in Bloomington, CA on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 1pm.
