Florencio Torres Barron, Jr., born on October 22, 1925, age 88, sadly passed away on August 6, 2014 in his home in Fontana, CA. He is survived by his sons Randy & Larry Barron and daughters-in-law Debbie & Christine, respectively. He is the grandfather to four grandchildren: Randy, Ron, Joseph and Nicholas. Also, a great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren; Roxie, Beau, Brooklynn and Mason.
During his lifespan, he served in the Unites States Navy for a little over 2 years. He was also awarded the Victory Medal for WWII. After his term in the service, he worked as a Loadmaster for the Air Force for 42 years.
Florencio's service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10am in Green Acres Chapel.
Burial will follow the service at Green Acres Memorial Park where he will receive Naval honors.
