James Williams Graham was born on March 18, 1936, in Marshall, Texas, to parents Ernest Graham and Corine Perkins. At an early age he decided to move to Dallas, Texas, where he then found The Lord and joined Bexar St. Baptist Church.
James attended school in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Lincoln High School. At the age of 19, he met and married Elizabeth Graham. Later on they had six children. In 1968 he moved his family to California, where his 7th child was born. His working career ended as a plumber for La Canada Unified District. He was a faithful member of Cavalry C.M.E. Church.
He is preceded in death by his son Ricky Graham, parents Ernest and Corine Graham, brother’s Marvin and Joe Graham, sister Gloria Garrett and two granddaughter’s Kenya Kemp and LaToya Hockley.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Elizabeth Graham. His loving children, Debra Graham, Yvonne Graham, Kathy Graham, Ricky Graham (deceased), James Graham, Eric Graham and LaTacha Cordoza (Joseph Cordoza). His two sisters, Charita Graham (Chicago) and Earlene and one brother Valentino Graham. Thirty grandchildren, forty seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
