

Julie M. Ramirez was a modest woman, quiet and observant in her ways. She was trustworthy and traditional in her approach to her life and in her relationships. She was tough-minded with the kind of “stick to it” attitude that earned the respect of all who knew her. She was also a woman who was meticulous, carefully disciplined, and orderly in virtually everything she undertook. Realistic about life, she was always at the ready, prepared to take on responsibility.
Julie was born on July 7, 1941 in her family home in Guasti, California. She was the daughter of Antonio and Concha Martinez. Julie grew up in Ontario, California.
Julie was raised with eight siblings. She had three sisters, Esther, Elvira, and Ysidra, and four brothers, Rudolfo, Tony, Ralph, and Joe. Julie was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Always considered a “good” friend to those she knew, Julie enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during her lifetime. Later in life, she became friends with Margaret Hernandez and Yvonne Lopez.
On February 17, 1968 Julie exchanged wedding vows with Joe Hererra Ramirez in Guasti, California. Empathic and loyal, Julie was committed to making her new family happy.
Julie worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Julie was blessed with two daughters, Tina and Jennifer. Another blessing for Julie was the gift of three grandchildren, David, Raylena, and Jacob. She was very devoted to her children, but also made time to pursue her hobbies, such as dancing.
Julie was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of her favorites was a maltese. They were best friends for ten years.
Julie passed away on August 20, 2010 at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana, California. Multiple Sclerosis. She is survived by her husband, Joe Ramirez, her daughters Tina and Jennifer, and her grandchildren David, Raylena, and Jacob. Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fontana, Ca. Julie was laid to rest in Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington, California.
Simply stated, Julie was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Julie leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Julie M. Ramirez.
