Pilar Rivera

Pilar Rivera peacefully passed away on March 10, 2025, at the Morning Mist Assisted Living Home in Eastvale, CA, where she was residing. The staff there took very good care of her, they loved on her and it showed. She was born on August 9, 1947, in Santa Rosalia, Baja California Sur, Mexico to Jesus Martinez and Pilar Salvatierra. She was one of 10 children. Pilar was a loving mother to Junior, Maribel, Veronica,

Rafael, Norma, Luis and Carlos. She had 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was also mother by choice (not birth) to Candelario and Ruben aka Kabuki, whom both loved her very much as she loved them. Pilar was well known for her joy and sense of humor. She loved to sing, dance and play loteria.

Before Morning Mist, Pilar was cared for at Inland Valley Rehabilitation. There she also was cared for and loved on especially by Anida who went above and beyond. For this reason the family will be forever grateful to her. Pilar will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in passing by her siblings, Jesus, Felix, Florentino, Carlos and Angel. She is survived by her sisters Manuela, Guadalupe, Paula Alicia Her brother Maximino and all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
