He is survived by his 2 sons Richard Lira and Pedro "Sonny" Lira; grandson Richard Lira jr III and grand-daughter Breanna Marie Lira; 2 brothers Macario Lira and Art Lira; 3 sisters Ernestina Ochoa; Vicky Bentacourt and Terry Lira. Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 1-5PM at Green Acres Mortuary and chapel service on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 10AM at Green Acres Mortuary with burial to follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.
