A long time teacher and coach in the Fontana Unified School District as well as Riverside Community College passed away on Saturday April 28,2012 at The Lakes in Banning, California where he was a resident.
Ron was preceded in death by both his father and mother Wendel and Leola Smith.He leaves behind many friends,as well as fellow teachers and coaches who considered him as a brother. Also, he leaves behind many students and athletes to whom he passed on his knowledge and life lessons. Finally, there are those left behind who were fortunate enough to have know him well enough to consider him as their "Uncle Ron"
Services will be held on Tuesday May 8,2012 at 11:00 am at Green Acres Mortuary 11715 Cedar Ave. Bloomington,Ca 92316
