Roy Edward Waddell

Roy Edward Waddell, 79 of Bloomington, California passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Riverside, CA after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his kids, grandkids, and friends when he passed. Roy was born on October 5, 1943 in Riverside, California. He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara, parents Alma and Jay Waddell, as well as his siblings; David, James, Mary (Long), and Helen (Clifton).

Roy leaves behind his three children; daughter Julie Payne (Mike), daughter Suzanne McGee (Essex), and son Dennis (Ann). He also leaves behind his grandchildren Ashley, Jake, Chloe, Essex III, great granddaughter Reign, as well as two sisters, Bette Heiliger and Dorothy Anderson. Roy was a heavy equipment operator and heavy equipment mechanic for over 50 years. Always ready with a joke, Roy was loved by many not only for his sense of humor, but his generosity, and easy going personality.

Services will be on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Green Acres in Bloomington, California. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 and a graveside service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Mike Payne presiding over the service.
