

He was born on 9/30/39 in Milwaukee, WI to Leroy and Anastacia Murnane.
He was orphaned at the age of 5 and spent time in foster care. He was brought to California by his foster family where he attended Newman High School. He enlisted in the US Air Force at the young age of 17 where he earned his GED and served a tour of duty in Bitburg, Germany. He returned to California where he met the love of his life Marie. They married and settled in Fontana, CA where they raised their 3 daughters. He was a longtime member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Fontana and St. Thomas More in Rialto.
He retired from Alpha Beta/Ralphs where he worked as a meat cutter for 30 years. He loved his family and friends dearly and never knew a stranger. He would talk to anybody that would listen and because of that, developed some lifelong friendships through by chance meetings along with random conversation.
He is survived by his loving wife Marie of 57 years. Daughters Diana (Kevin) Lord, Rene’ (Dan) Kopp. Grandsons Bradley and Brian Lord, Scott and Shawn Whitt, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, sister Audrey Waldoch and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Anastacia Murnane. His daughter Karen Whitt, great-grand daughter Hannah Lord, sister Lou Foster, brothers Lee, Earl and Harry (Fuzz) Murnane.
