Andy was born July 4, 1944 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Herman and Edna Nelson Walberg.
A memorial visitation and reception will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 2-4:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded by the funeral home.
Survivors include 1 sister, Valerie Mayer of Roselle; 2 nieces, Holly Manogura of Green Oaks and Jeannie Mayer of Plainfield; 1 nephew Matthew Mayer of South Elgin; 3 great-nieces, and 4 great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother Bill Mayer.
Andy worked for the United States Postal Service in Bloomington, for many years.
Memorial contribution may be to a charity of the Donor's choice in Andy's memory.
