Arjun Kansiawala

He was born June 20, 1981 in Bharuch, Gujarat, India, son of Nareshbhai and Latabahen Kansiawala. He married Holly K. Rimshas (daughter of Nancy and Michael Rimshas) on November 15, 2008 in Elizabeth, IL.

Surviving are his wife, Holly, of Bloomington and his parents, Nareshbhai and Latabahen, of India, five nieces and two nephews.

Arjun worked as a consultant and technical analyst for Ciber, Inc. in Bloomington for 5 years. While employed in Bloomington, he was able to make many great friends at State Farm Insurance Company.

Arjun earned his Bachelors of Science Degree at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2003 and his Masters Degree in Information Security at Trinity College in Washington DC in 2004. He enjoyed homemade Indian food, sports cars, body building and playing cricket. He loved spending time with family and friends and loved to share stories of his homeland in India.

Arjun was bright, clever, articulate and took pride in everything he did. He loved to travel both domestically and internationally and was fluent in three different languages. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington, where visitation will be three hours prior (1 to 4 p.m.) Arjun will be transported back to his homeland in India, where traditional cremation services will be conducted.
