She was born in Dewitt, IL, on January 12th, 1937, to Roy and Grace Shobe.
On March 29th, 1956, she married Samuel Hendricks in Bloomington, IL.
Betty is survived by two sons: Sam (Beth) Hendricks of Danvers and Steve Hendricks of Miami, FL; three daughters: Lora Keeney of Bloomington, Lisa (Tommy) Barnes of Hudson, and Hollie (Rob) Alvarado of Stanford; nine grandchildren: Amanda, Sam, and Jeff Hendricks; Aaron, Andrew, Allyson, and Austin Keeney; Jennifer and Henry Barnes; two great-granddaughters: Lillian and Faith Hair; and siblings: Mary Bartosik of Heyworth and Frank Shobe of Bloomington.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, and husband, Samuel.
She enjoyed her many flower gardens, and will be missed by those still in her life.
