Carl David Hall Jr.

David was born July 26, 1968 in Bloomington, IL, the son of Carl “Butch” Hall and Sandra Hall formerly of Bloomington, now residing in Bartow Florida.

David is survived by his parents Carl “Butch” and Sandra, two sisters, Julia Hall of Murfreesboro, TN and Christina (Michael) Spinks of Normal, IL. Also surviving are two nephews Alex and Justin Hall of Normal and two nieces Carla and Emily Spinks, also of Normal, and one great nephew Anthony Barnhill of Normal.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, three uncles and one aunt.

David graduated from Bloomington High School in1986. He then attended Ivy Tech in Evansville, IN, Heartland Junior College in Normal, Northwestern and ISU.

David was well known in the Bloomington/Normal art community. He has published many poetry books and recorded a CD.

David enjoyed open mic nights at many local art venues. He loved playing his guitar and singing.

Visitation will be at East Lawn Funeral Home Tuesday May 5, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Memorial service will be held at East Lawn Funeral Home the following day, Wednesday May 6 at 11:00 AM. Services will be officiated by Pastor Jason Collins.

David will be greatly missed by his friends and Family.
