Carol M Rudsinski

She was born April 23, 1938 in Normal, the daughter of Orval Basil and Lucile May Hill Haggard. She married Milton G. “Sonny” Rudsinski on December 26, 1969 in Hudson.

Surviving are their children; Kurt (Wendy) Rudsinski of Downs; Darcie (D. Geoff) Sivyer of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Kylie, Hannah, Drew, Jude, and Isaiah; a sister-in-law, Sharen Rudsinski; two nieces, Karin Malachowski and Tracy Welch; two nephews, Kyle Keith and Brian Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents, a miscarried grandchild; two brothers, Alan and Byrl; and a sister, Donna.

Carol enjoyed traveling to Branson, MO to listen to Daniel O’Donnell sing. She also enjoyed reading, knitting and playing slot machines. She worked for the city of Bloomington for many years. Earlier in life, she was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

A funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Committal service will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
