Charles D Coffman

Charlie was born November 1, 1954, in Bloomington, the son of Charles Albert and Geneva A. Taylor Coffman.

Surviving are his two brothers, Gene (Becky) Coffman of Indiana, and Allen Coffman of Dallas, TX; his step-children, Jason and Karen; his best friend and caretaker, Jim (Janet) Kirk of Downs; nephews and nieces, Chris, Mark, and Deb; Bonnie (Glenn) Miller; Steve (Julie) Coffman; and Mike (Jody) Coffman; great-nieces and nephews, Kayla (Jeremiah) Stump; John (Bre) Woodward; Arron Miller; Jason (Robin) Coffman; Justin Coffman; Caleb (Marin) Coffman; and Evan Coffman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Charlie worked at Stark Excavating for over 15 years as a concrete truck driver. When he wasn’t working, he would enjoy riding his motorcycles. He always kept them clean and was known to wash his vehicles even if he drove them a block. He also enjoyed lawn work.

Per Charlie’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gene Coffman to help with funeral expense. Online condolences may be shared with the family at eastlawn-bloomington.com.
