Cindy Able Giroux

Cindy Able Giroux, 53, of Bloomington passed away at 11:40 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at her daughter’s residence in Pontiac, IL.

She was born October 28, 1957 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of George and Shirley Able.

Cindy married Ray Giroux. She is survived by three daughters; Carrie (Dave) Johansen, Darbie (Jeffrey Rush) Giroux and Jennie Giroux; Three sons; Joshua Giroux, Ray Giroux Jr. and Joseph Giroux. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Devon and Jacob Johansen, Dante, Shirley and Jaydon Williams, Josie and Caleb Giroux and Elijah Rush. Also surviving are one brother Jeff (Donna) Able, two sisters; Kelly Williams and Kim Palmer, step-mother Sue Able and her father George “Bud” Able.

She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Able Henderson.

Memorial services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington, Pastor Mary Armstrong Reiner will officiate. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services.

Entombment will take place at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
