She was born May 31, 1927 in Pontiac, IL, daughter of Albert and Mary Lou Shoop Meier. She married Alfred R. Boyce in 1946 in Bloomington, IL. He preceded her in death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Surviving are one son, William Boyce of Mounds View, MN; two daughters, Lori (Marcello) Marotta of Bloomington, IL and Nancy (Dale) Gettings of Godfrey, IL; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Normal.
Cremation rites have been accorded. East Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Private committal services will be held at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Bloomington, IL.
