Geniene was born February 17, 1953, in Hollywood, CA, the daughter of Howard and Louise Garvin Perry. She married Martin Croft on January 15, 1982. He survives.
Also surviving are their two children; Sterling (Amanda) Croft of Springfield, VA; and Dayna (Josh) Anderson of Ellsworth; five grandchildren, Kyler, Kaden, Caelyn, Jenna, and Adelaide. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Geniene was an accountant for many years for the city of Coachella in California. She also enjoyed every aspect of soccer. Not only did she enjoy playing soccer, but she also coached soccer for the Desert United Soccer Club for 15 years. She cherished every moment with her family.
Per Geniene’s wishes, cremation has been accorded. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Bloomington American Legion. Online condolences may be shared with the family at eastlawn-bloomington.com
