Gustavo “Gus” Antonio Tacon, of Bloomington, IL, passed away peacefully on Dec 9th, 2020. He was born June 13th, 1950, in San Francisco, California the son of Blanca Rosa (Oritz) Tacon and Julio Cesar Tacon Sr.
Gus is survived by brothers, Daniel and Cesar; sister, Rosa; several nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
Gustavo served many years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged from his duties. His work attitude was always to give his all and help the people he worked with to find the solutions necessary to get to the end goal and accomplish what they have set out to do. He never knew the meaning of "This can't be done” or “That's impossible”. He truly believed that if you have the will, you could find the solution. Gus enjoyed to be in the service of others, always looking for a positive way to find a solution. Gus' friendship will be missed, as he enjoyed sharing and helping others.
Services have been accorded.
A graveside service will be held at East Lawn Memorial Gardens on January 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
