Jonathan Vincent Hays

Jonathan was born May 18, 1952 in Chicago to Robert & Althea Hays.

Jonathan grew up in Champaign, IL and received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Masters degree in Network Management from the University of Southern California. Jonathan had an extensive career that included serving his country in the United States Army, and working as both an engineer and network manager in locales as diverse as Texas, California, Hawaii, North Carolina, New York and finally Massachusetts. He lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his brothers: Paul Robert (Laura) Hays of Richmond, TX, Christopher William (Kimberly) Hays of Bloomington, , Carl Michael (Marie Bendig) Hays of Roselle, IL; nieces: Sarah (Alvaro) Hays-Mercado of Houston, TX, Ellen Hays of Austin, TX and nephew: Eric Hays of Richmond, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew: Daniel Hays.

Memorial Visitation will be from 2 to 3pm Saturday February 7, 2015 at East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd. Bloomington, IL. The Memorial Service will begin at 3pm.
