Kenneth L Huggett

Kenneth was born July 9, 1935, in Marshall, MI, the son of Henry Marvin and Hazel Rapp Huggett. He married Phyllis Morton on October 21, 1956. She preceded him in death. He later married C.J. Moser on September 6, 1980, in Kewanee. She survives.

Also surviving are their children, Alex (Sandy) Huggett of Chicago; Mike Huggett of Normal, Karen (Jack) Loebig of Royal Palm Beach, FL; Brenda (Mark) Dovel of Atlanta, IL; and Paul Huggett of Atlanta, IL; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Clarence Huggett; Charles Huggett; and James Huggett, all of Marshall, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Russ Huggett, Richard Huggett, and Tom Huggett; and one grandchild, Adam Dovel.

Kenneth worked for State Farm Insurance Company for 39 years. He attained designations of CPCU and CLU. He was a volunteer for the VITA Program, the Country Youth Golf Classic, and the Leroy County Club Board. He served in the United States Army. He was a 32nd degree Mason for the Scottish Rite Temple.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington. Visitation will be held from 10:15-10:45 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at the church.
