Ken was born on July 1, 1953 to M. Paul and Ellen (Klaesener) Julian. He attended Central Catholic High School, and spent most of his career working in trucking until his retirement several years ago.
On September 7, 1974, Ken married the love of his life, Rebecca “Becky” Rambo of Litchfield, Illinois. Their daughter Michelle was the apple of their eyes (well, maybe not so much during her teenage years). They were devoted to their family and supported each other through almost 48 years of marriage, until her death in 2022.
Throughout their years together, Ken and Becky enjoyed traveling to car shows, flea markets, antique shops, casinos, and anywhere else that looked like fun. They truly loved spending time together, and with their family. Family meant everything to Ken, and he was always ready to help, check in, or just be there when needed.
Ken is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Jody) Ravary of Bloomington, Illinois; and by six of his siblings, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, as well as his faithful companion, Peanut.
He was one of ten children and is survived by: Mary Ellen (Mike) Tournai, Elizabeth (Ray) Craig, Richard (Ruth) Julian, Daniel (Susan) Julian, Rose (Kerry) Brown, and Patricia (David) Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James (survived by his widow, Margaret), Thomas (survived by his widow, Catherine) and Robert Julian; and by an infant sister, Kathryn.
His family was blessed to spend one last Thanksgiving with him and he then returned to be with his favorite person of all, his wife Becky. While his family is devastated by this loss, they find comfort knowing that Ken and Becky are together again.
Services will be Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10:00 am, Eastlawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd, Bloomington 61704, Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
