Lisa was born August 4, 1968 in Gibson City, the daughter of Guy Houchens and Mabel Park Houchens. Surviving are her son Jeffrey Dean-Lewis Smith, her mother Mabel Houchens, her brother Rory Houchens all of Ellsworth, IL, her sister Leslie Houchens of Bloomington, IL, her fiancé Darren Newman of LeRoy, IL, her Aunt Phyllis Granacher of Waynesville, IL, and her Uncle George Houchens of Fort Collins, CO.
She was preceded in death by her father Guy Houchens, her grandparents Mary Dee and Winston Houchens, Mabel and Philip Park, 3 uncles Charles Houchens, Winston Houchens, and Louis Granacher.
Lisa graduated from Octavia High School in 1986 and from Flamingo Beauty School in 1988. She worked for Phar-Mor drug store for many years.
Lisa belonged to the Living Hope Christian Church in Downs, IL.
Lisa was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all.
