Mary J. Lane

Mary J. Lane, 85, 0f Bloomington, passed away at 1:49 p.m. on January 30, 2011 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal, IL.

She was born May 2, 1925, the daughter of Emmett and Maude Vandegraft Hinthorn in Lake Bloomington, IL. She married George L. Lane in 1971 he preceded her in death on June 3, 1977. She is also preceded in death by her parents, one brother Jack and two sisters Alberta and Linda.

Mary is survived by one son, Robert (Cheryl) Brando of Mississippi, four daughters; Glenda (Kevin) Marcussen of Indiana, Jan Carr of Illinois, Mary (Philip) Breckling of Texas and Katha Spurgeon of Illinois. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, and four sisters June Canull, Kaye Jennings, Faye Eades and Susan (Jerry) Barron.

She was a member of the women of the Moose and West Twin Grove Church in Bloomington.

A remembrance of life will be held at The West Twin Grove Church in Bloomington at 10:00a.m. on Thursday, February, 10, 2011. Pastor Mickey Fuson will be officiating.

East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington is in Charge of Arrangements.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
