

He was born on April 20, 1944 in Bloomington, son of Vern and Ella Worstell Gaddy. He married Nancy Lamon Riley on August 28, 1994 in Pontiac.
Surviving are his wife of El Paso; three children, Karla Gaddy of Bloomington and Kathie Gaddy and Michael A. Gaddy, Jr, both of California; one step-son, Harry Lamon of El Paso and five grandchildren, Bacardi Gaddy of Meadows, Brianna and Brashea Gaddy, both of CA and Christina and Dylan Carrier, both of El Paso. Also surviving are three brothers, Richard Gaddy of Gridley, Jerry Gaddy of Lincoln and Jack Gaddy of McLean and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Vern and two brothers.
Michael was a truck driver for Fed Ex for many years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Michael is loved and will be missed by family, friends and all who knew him. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all attending medical staff, his homemaker and hospice for all of their care and support.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, where visitation will begin at 12noon. Masonic services will be held at 1:30, prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens immediately following funeral services.
