Our family used Mildred’s catering business for years. She was with us for so many celebrations and family parties. If we were having an event, we always had Mildred there, usually with Eileen. Mildred was a part of so many happy events in Bloomington. She would also prepare dishes for our holiday meals. From wedding showers to birthday parties, she was always there. You knew that it would be a wonderful party if Millie was there. A great cook and a calming influence for the hostess! Mildred was so kind and had a great sense of humor! We will miss her!

Mildred and her family were our "backyard neighbors" while I was growing up. They were a wonderful family and I always enjoyed running into Mildred at the grocery story and other locations in later years. Truly a kind, gracious woman. My condolences and prayers to her entire family.
