She was born on Sept. 26, 1940, to Herman and Lucile Lyons.
She is survived by a sister, Beverly Casey of Urbana; a son, Jeffrey (Trisha) LaChance of Orlando, Fla.; and grandchildren, Nathan LaChance of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Noah LaChance of Orlando, Fla.
She retired from Piedmont Airlines and then worked part time with Publix Supermarket in the Aprons Department.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. June 16 at Eastpoint Fellowship Church, Orlando, Fla.
