Paul Edward Sutter

Paul Edward "Bud" Sutter, 94 of Bloomington, IL passed away peacefully on April 24,2025. He was born on November 24, 1930 in Colfax, IL to Paul and Reba Sutter. On February 5, 1955 Paul married the love of his life Dorothy Jean Scott. Together they shared a life full of love and happiness.

He leaves to cherish his memories, children; Ron (Maryann) Sutter, Debbie McDaniel; grandchildren, R.J. (Helen) McDaniel, Jared (Mackenzie) McDaniel, Jordan (Meghan) McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jasmine, Reed, Delcan, Gage, Sylvie, Beau, Lyla; a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Paul loved spending time with his family. During his life he enjoyed gardening, hunting, welding, working on cars, metal detecting, playing cards, and sitting outside spending time with friends.

Paul was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He served during the Korean war.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy Sutter, one great-grandchild Olivia, sister Joann, brothers, Bill, Bob and Dick, and Son-in-law Reed McDaniel Sr.

Paul's visitation will be on April 29,2025 from 12PM to 2PM with service to follow at East Lawn Funeral Home 1102 Airport Rd Bloomington, IL 61704. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
