

He was born September 2, 1954, in Bloomington, son of Willard Jay and Margaret Mary Siebert. He married Debra Brown on June 9, 1975, the mother of his children.
Surviving are two children, Jason Siebert of Seattle and Jennifer Siebert of Denver; one brother, John (Judy) Siebert of Bloomington and one sister, Jayne (Stan) Taylor of New Smyrna Beach.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Linda.
Steve had a long and successful career in sales, where his personality served him well. He loved bowling, dancing at the winery, and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, gift for storytelling, and the way he could make people laugh wherever he went. He also loved playing the Illinois Lottery. While he never won the million dollar jackpot, he was truly one in a million and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
A private inurnment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at a later date.
To honor the love Steve had for his dogs, Junior and Moretti, memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
