BLOOMINGTON - Tom Stoltz , civil engineer and resident of Bloomington, passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2021 at the age of 58 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Tom was born on January 18, 1963 in Lincoln, IL, the son of Dean Tindall and Georgia B Stoltz. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and his brother, John Stoltz. He is survived by his spouse, Rini (Wulandari) Stoltz of Bloomington, IL; his sister, Sue Howard of Delavan, IL; Kathy (Daniel) Jones of Mount Pulaski, IL, Connie (David) De Elena of Aurora, CO; Steve Stoltz of Lincoln, IL ; several nieces, nephews and his beloved dogs, Cookie and Holly.
Tom was a 1980 graduate of Lincoln High School, Lincoln IL and was an Illinois State University Scholar. He graduated from Bradley University with honor in Civil Engineering. He was a loving, devoted husband who cared deeply with his family and friends.
After fulfilling his dream of early retirement even the simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Tom. He loved a quiet evening sitting by the porch stargazing as much as traveling the world with his wife. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met.
There will be a Celebration of Life at East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Garden on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 3:00 p.m - 5:00 pm.
