I have been praying for God to uphold you and your loved ones during this difficult time.  I treasure the memories of Wally as my Jr. High teacher, Sunday School teacher, and friend.  He will be missed by many.

Wallace was a great man and influenced me in the classroom and beyond.  He touched so many lives and made life a joy for all he knew. God is rejoicing to bring one of his own home.  We are saddened, but are singing praises for a life well lived in the service of God.   My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We were so sorry to hear the news of Wally's passing.  I am forever indebted to the fact that you opened your home to me at a needful time in my life.  Our prayers are with you, June.

We are looking forward to seeing Wallace face-to-face in heaven. We always enjoyed his love of God, knowledge with wisdom and quick witted humor.  I loved watching him eat popcorn with a spoon. We especially loved hearing him pray and saying "do that oh Lord" when others prayed. One of the gifts he gave me still hangs on my study wall above my desk. It says "COOLETH IT"  Is this knot right? with love, Wally and Orvil.  This all surrounds a KNOT in the wood.   So we will be thinking of all of you and continuing to uphold you, June, like always.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.  I still remember my first trip to Lexington with David and how welcomed I felt in your home.  That continued every visit that followed over the many years our paths crossed.  Your family has been a blessing in my life.  May you find peace in the days ahead and joy in the memories you have of your husband and father.

I am so sorry for your loss, I will keep your family in my prayers. He was always one of my favorite teachers.

I am so sorry to learn of Mr McCord's passing.  I remember him with great fondness -- from Church, from the neighborhood, and (of course) from school.  He challenged me to be an independent thinker and led by example.  I thank Mr McCord for helping instill a love of the social sciences that continues in my own teaching today.  Your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope you have many cherished memories to comfort you.

Mr McCord  helped to change the lives of many youg people.  It ws my pleasure to have known he and his family.

Wallace was a kind hearted, respected man! His love for Jesus was never hidden! He was a friend to many and will be missed by many. Our prayers are with you all!

To the McCord family, we are so sorry for your loss.  May it help to know that many people care and are thinking of you at this time.

My sympathy and prayers for your family at this time. May the knowledge that he is happy and whole in heaven give you peace. Mr. McCord had high standards in his classroom and taught many of us to strive to do the same in our lives. He will be remembered fondly for not only his teaching in the classroom, but also his example of Christianity and love of God. Thank you, Mr. McCord.

Our hearts weep for the loss of such a great steward of our Lord, educator and humanitarian. May the family rejoice in the memory of his walk with Christ and the knowledge of his assurance into heaven.

It has been so many years(48) since I had Mr. McCord (as addressed by his students)as a teacher, but the values he displayed and taught have stayed with me for my whole life.  What a great educator and wonderful human being we all have been so blessed to have known.  Our deepest sympathies to his wife June, children; Linda and David, and their families.

Wallace was a great neighbor, a great teacher, and a great friend.  I fondly recall hours of conversation with him.  He touched many people in very positive ways and will be missed.  Deepest sympathies.

Wallace was one of the finest men I have ever had the honor to have known. It the short moments I spent with him,  he forever placed the memory of himself in my heart and mind. The last few times I saw him he repeatedly told me he had had a wonderful life and he was ready for the next phase of his journey. I will never forget him.  I pray that the families sadness and loss will eventually with time be replaced with joy for having had him as a part of your life.

I am so saddened for your loss of a wonderful educator, encourager, and believer in Christ.  We know Mr. McCord is at the feet of Jesus and so at peace.  I am praying for you all.  Thankyou to him and to you Mrs. McCord for the education that you gave to us at Lexington Grade School.
