Wayne F. Dodd

He was born May 19, 1937 in Monticello to Ernest Victor and Anna (Vance) Dodd. On September 19, 1955 he married Shirley Healey in Hernando, Mississippi. On April 25, 1992 he married Sally Jo Anderson Shaffer.

Wayne enjoyed woodworking, fishing, farming, and was involved in Pontiac church groups. He was a member of the Chenoa First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his son: William (Karen) Dodd of Normal; grandchildren: Jason (Brittenay) Dodd of Bloomington, Ryan Dodd of Bloomington, Kami Dodd of Bloomington; 13 great-grandchildren; brother: Thomas (Shirley) Dodd of Clinton, Larry Dodd of Clinton; sister: Roseanne (Lee) Fischer of Kingman, AZ; step-children: Rob (Jen) Shaffer of El Passo, Emery (Terra)Shaffer of El Passo; special friend: Lois; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; brothers: Jimmy and David; and sister Matte.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday January 21, 2014 at East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd. Bloomington, IL 61704. Service will be 2pm Wednesday January 22, 2014 at the Funeral Home.
