William C. Klink (Bill), 84, of Bloomington, passed away on February 29, 2020. Bill was born September 30, 1935 in Bloomington, the son of Rose I. Wunderley and Ernest S. Klink. They both precede him in death.
Bill married the love of his life, Mary Lou Walden, on December 12, 1953. Mary passed away on May 6, 2016, after 62 years of marriage.
Bill retired from General Electric in 1995 after 40 years. He was a lifetime member of Tri-Lakes; he was an avid fisherman. He and Mary were members of The Eagles Club and the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are their four children: Connie S. Haney of Carlock, Karen R. Swick of Bloomington, Gary D. (Lori) Klink of Bloomington and Debbie A. (Scott) Alexander of Lexington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Bill and Mary were members of E-Free and Centennial Churches of Bloomington.
Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He and the love of his life are finally re-united.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5th from 11am-12pm, immediately followed by a funeral service. Following the service, entombment will be at the East Lawn Memorial Gardens mausoleum.
